Conservation-Aquaristic
There are, of course, innumerable breeding and interest groups, as well as breeding projects, in the associations and associations of EATA owed to the interest of individuals. However, in order for a project to be designated as a conservation breeding project and recorded on this page, some criteria must be met. The project description must make it clear that the aim is to either protect a species or group of fish from permanent disappearance on this planet, or to relieve the natural stocks of an endangered species through breeding activity, so that even self-regulating removal of nature for aquaristics is largely avoided become. The EATA uses the IUCN Redlist as a basis for when a species is considered to be endangered in its existence, in which a large percentage of the known freshwater fish is recorded. In order for a species to be considered in a conservation breeding project, there must be a threat status, that is, the species must at least fall into one of the "Threatened Categories", ie at least be vulnerable (vulnerable).
Exceptions only concern species that are not yet (Not Evaluated) or insufficiently evaluated (Data Deficient) due to lack of data, but are at risk according to experts. You can find out which decision-making aids the IUCN uses as the basis for classification in a corresponding category here. As a further criterion, the organization, association or association in which the project is located must be based in a European country. However, the projects themselves can be international.
Below is a list of previously considered projects. This list does not claim to be complete and is continuously expanded and supplemented.
